The Citizens’ Forum on Democracy and Unconstitutional Changes of Government (held 11-13 July, 2022) was an ECOSOCC flagship event that provided a platform for an in-depth discussion of the contemporary socio-political contexts surrounding the recent upsurge in UCG incidents in Africa, and the role of civil society in supporting the efforts of continental and regional institutions in achieving non-recurrence.
