The Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) Secretariat hereby publishes a list of pre-qualified suppliers for the period 2024-2027. This publication is made in accordance with Chapters 5.6.4 of the African Union Procurement Manual that prescribes maintenance of a database of pre-qualified suppliers, contractors and service providers, who have been assessed to be a suitable standard to meet the requirements of the AU based on clear qualification criteria. The Procurement Unit of the ECOSOCC Secretariat shall supervise all registration of suppliers based on the following principles: Establishment and publication of clear evaluation criteria for acceptance into defined categories. Monitoring and evaluation of performance of suppliers on contract awarded and removal from the register of suppliers who fail to perform satisfactorily. Registration is subject to periodical formal renewal or cancellation if a supplier has not undertaken any contracts or reregistered within a three-year period. Registration of a supplier in the register of suppliers indicates that the supplier is eligible to participate in AU procurement with respect to goods and/or services for which it is registered. However, the registration does not guarantee that the supplier will be selected to participate in any solicitation or be awarded a contract.
