The introduction of Health Day led to the UAE Declaration on Climate and Health, highlighting the link between health and climate action. A dedicated session on Africa underscored the urgent need for increased climate finance for adaptation. The conference, with over 83,884 attendees, resulted in the UAE Consensus, outlining priorities for just energy transitions, mitigation, and climate finance. African leaders also adopted the Nairobi Declaration, while Civil Society Organizations emphasized adaptation, loss and damage, and ecosystem restoration.
